English Schools Selection for 9 NAC Athletes

Northampton Athletic Club are proud to announce that nine of their athletes have been selected to represent Northamptonshire at the English Schools Athletics Association Track and Field Championship in Birmingham on 12th/13th July 2019.

Based on their performances this season and by attaining the required ESAA Qualifying Standards, the following athletes have been selected as part of a 24 strong team from across the County:

Under 20:

Samuel Tutt – Senior Boys 110m Hurdles

Thomas Wilcock – Senior Boys 110m Hurdles

Under 17:

Chris Dyrmishi – Intermediate Boys Shot

Auguste Zakelyte – Intermediate Girls Discus

Amelia Tutt – Intermediate Girls 80m Hurdles

Ella Watford – Intermediate Girls Triple Jump

Under 15:

Shanice Ighalo – Junior Girls Long Jump

Lily Carlaw – Junior Girls Shot

Joshua Tutt – Junior Boys Shot

Special congratulations to the Tutt family, whom, as you can see about have a Triple Entry with all three siblings selected for the competition! What a fantastic Achievement!

Congratulations to all of our athletes and coaches in their selection success, and we thank the Team Managers at the Northamptonshire Schools Athletics Association for their time in organising the teams.

NAC also wish to congratulate our second claim athletes Lewis Byng (Stratford-Upon-Avon/Northampton) and Alfie Williams (West Norfolk/Northampton) who have also been selected to represent their respective home counties in shot.
